compact flouro question
Well it's my understanding that fluorescents are fine for veg, but for bloom you need to have a lot of power. I'd guess that those bulbs are fine for bloom if you use them all at the same time. I've got CFLs, but the powerful grow ones that range from 125 watts to 200 watts. My seedling is about a week old, and seems to be doing great under the 125 watt Hydrofarm. If you surround your plants with reflective mylar you can increase the light that reaches your plant quite a lot.

hey justaseed, ive got to say thats a nice looking setup you are running for just some cfl's...
blunt man, if you use between a 4100k and 3500k and enough wattage, you get nice veg growth without any strecthing(run 18/6)...when it comes time to switch over to flowering, you can drop down to the lower end of the spectrum as the redder light waves are better for flowering. (around 2800K or lower on 12/12)

just a seed!!!!!!
nice grow..
question for yu .. when you say you have 350 watts...
are you talking about actual watts or the amount of light the bulbs give off?
For example..
when you buy a cfl, it will say something on the pacage like: it is a 150 watt CFL, that only cosumes 42 watts of electricity...
SO what number are you adding up?
LOVE
: )
