Le me get this straight,... you are saying.. that MEtal Halide is better than HPS... for flowering...?


IF so.. if this is what you are saying, then your definittion of better is different than MINE...

Better means... Tighter nodes, big buds, denser buds, more YIELD..

Thus HPS is ot just better!!! IT DOMINATES..... no comparison...

you are totally right about all the drawbacks of cfls, but scrog seems to negate most of the problems. personally i don't know why anyone with limited space/lighting would do anything but scrog(maybe sog). i have been doing scrog since my second grow. you can get great yeilds from small spaces with limited light. i am currently helping my brother convert a fishtank stand measuring 2ft wide x 2ft deep x 3 ft high(aprox.) to a scrog cab. we will be using a 70hps and 2 42watt cfls and for ventillation a 80cfm bathroom exhaust fan($12 at hd). he should be able to get at least 3 oz from this set-up! i got 4oz steadily from a similar set-up that had the same lighting and 2 more 42 watt cfl's(70hps and 4 42watt cfls total)

well 52 days into flowering under the 400w hps too bad i didn't start flowering with it from the beginning.Im a beginner who learned from my mistake.I would have had way more yield if I would have began flowering under hps. here are the girls seems like i have week left i thing until harvest its been a long road :thumbsup:
