But it gives you no control on the amount of upload bandwidth each file uses. To me programs like this are worthless. I guess itā??s ok if you only download one file at a time and donā??t use your internet connection for anything else while you are downloading.

AZUREUS give you total control over the upload speeds of every file you are downloading. I can set one to use 20kb/s and another to use only 5kb/s etc.

Well that is because you are just chatting or searching but the program you are using basically gives all possible upload speed to the file you are downloading. If you were doing something more significant you would notice that your connection was slow as hell.

And yeah Kazaaa is a completely different file sharing system. It is not torrent based. I will occasionally use eMule for some things but almost never. eMule is a similar P2P as Kazaa.

hehe i am king of file sharing! I run a server for bt purposes, its really not complicating at all, uhm but yea anyone here use usenet? its pretty good, if you cant find something via torrents, try usenet, very nice. http://www.binsearch.info/faq.php#c2

    Bittorrent info sites
    http://members.chello.nl/~p.wiersema/list.html
    http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/romeria/more.htm

Look at this FIRST, i know its out of order but oh well, this will tell you alot about it.
    http://zarlwilliam.blogspot.com/2005...rent-post.html

This is basically all you need in the lines of non private torrent sites. searches just about all the worthy open tracker sites.
    http://torrentsearcher.filesharingplace.com/

oink.me.uk = best site for music

Demonoid.com = Great site for warez

Also if you cant find it on bit torrent use IRC
IRC although its been out for a long time its still very useful. If you are like me and listen to underground music IRC is unbeatable, well at least for the punk, cant find barely any of that shit on torrent trackers, and ive tried nearly all of em.

Oh yea, go to portforward.com also, that site will help you configure your router to optimize download speeds

oh believe me i know my connection is slow as hell, but the thing is, I live out in the middle of nowhere and dsl and broadband isnt even availiable, so its me and my tibetan mastiff and pit bull dogs, and some good tunes,

Man does not live by the speed of his internet connection alone.
