Superbowl XLfootball coaches have the authority to challenge a call, and no calls were challenged, also in football referee's routinely watch the playback video monitor to make sure they were correct. I view this game as a warning, that something is very very wrong.

Superbowl XLfirst of all the touchdown run by ben was challenged... not by a coach though becuase of the 2 minutes rule which states that there can be no challenges within 2 min of the half or end of game by a coach... it has to come from upstairs... they did and confirmed it, and no refferees are forbidden from viewing moinitors of repalys... you don't know much about football and didn't pay attention to the game. Superbowl XLBoth "huge" plays and both field goals they missed were directly after they were the victim of a bad call. In other words they would have not been in those situations in the first place had the calls been correct. And how can you bash a team for missing a 59 yarder?!?! That they only had to try because of a bad call?!?!? Its amazing how short sided a fan of one team can be just because the want them to win so badly. Very interesting actually. Superbowl XLok first off the 80yd run was the first play of the second half, and it wouldnt have mattered where we started from, he would ahve went to the house, and second trying to kick a 59yd field goal is dumb as hell, i know football and anybody else that does will agree, in that situation you punt and give the steelers bad field position,, but they tried and missed and that gave us amazing field position... you just dont know that much about football Originally Posted by BaseRSX Originally Posted by BaseRSX

Superbowl XLThe score should have been 10-3 Seattle when that 80yard run happened so that would have just tied the game. And a 59 year field goal is not that crazy, especially in a dome. The chiefs kicker, Lawrence Tynes, made back to back 60 and 62 yarders outside this year!!! Originally Posted by pabloescobar209 Originally Posted by pabloescobar209

Again you seem to only be looking at things for a very Steelers perspective! The only mistakes Seattle made was managing the clock at the end of both halves, which again would not have been an issue had then not been the victims of bad calls.

Superbowl XLi'm done arguing with you if you are dumb enough to think trying a 59yd feild goal is a good idea when down by less than 3 scores... thats a just a bad play call... you should def punt... if you can't see that you know nothing about football and how the game is played... field position is key in a low scoring game Originally Posted by BaseRSX Originally Posted by BaseRSX
