Hello guys,

I had an idea (Oh noooo!!!)...
I was reading over this page:::
http://www.hg420.com/showthread.php?t=12320

Now, the guy was speaking with bloodshot420 (I think he's our same bloodshot420)... he says you can use gOOgle's cache to retrive sites...

Sooo... I was thinking... strength in numbers, right? Well, why don't we divide between willing participants the task of saving the OverGrow FAQs from gOOgle's cache?

Once we've all got things compiled, we can upload all files to a common xDrive.com account (thanks Trichome... ), and create one big ZIP with all the FAQs. Text. No images... I think.

Ok, I'm open to suggestions. If anybody wants to chime in, I suggest you copy/paste OverGrow's FAQ SiteMap below, and outline what section are you willing to copy.

I'm not expecting super Joy To The World holding-hands kind of stuff here, but if people want to help, I think it's a worthwhile thing.

NOTE#1: To my knowledge, I don't know how to retrive images from gOOgle's cache of OverGrow pages... if anybody knows, please provide feedback on how to do it.

NOTE#2: I'll provide instructions below, as to how I'm saving OG's FAQ pages.

Thanks for your time guys, I hope this helps.

SAVING THE FAQs:
1. Go to gOOgle, to a search for:::
+++inurl:www.overgrow.com/faq/sitemap.php+++
this will bring up 1 hit from gOOgle... the link won't work (OverGrow is down!), you have to click on the "Cached" link.
2. That will open up OverGrow's FAQ SiteMap page... there you have what I copy/pasted above
3. When you decide what part of the FAQ you'd like to save, right-click on the link (Example: "Sexing"), and select ""Copy Link Address" or something similar (depends on your browser).
4. Now, go back to gOOgle, and type +++ inurl:ADDRESSpaste +++
You have to remove the +++ http:// +++ part from the address. So, for the "Sexing" part of the FAQ, I copied +++ http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/t169 +++ and removed the +http://+ and ended up with:
+++ inurl:www.overgrow.com/growfaq/t169 +++
5. No you can re-search gOOgle with that, and it will display a one hit page... again, select the "Cached" from gOOgle, and you have the FAQ!!!

NOTE#3: Some FAQ sections have subsections... so maybe, you have to dig two levels before reaching "TEXT".

NOTE#4: I don't know if it'd be best to save the FAQs as text, or as html. In any event, I made a folder in my desktop just for this, and I'm dumping the .html files in the folder, and making a long-ass Word document of the "text".

Ok guys, I'm really sorry for making such a long-ass post, but, if you want to help, please do. It'd be good if everybody kept up-to-date in this thread as to their "progress"... again, I think the goal of having one big ZIP file with all of OverGrow's FAQs would be great.

Thanks for your time and cooperation,
Best regards, your clone-less buddy,
