I'm quite paraniod about people smelling my plants, so I've stocked up on odor control items at various stores. There is of course the carbon can filters, but they're big and expensive. I did get one of those, but the blower is really noisy so if guests are over I can't have it running. So I got some other items. The most quite are some bags of odor absorbing rocks, they're available at Home Depot. I also got a mini carbon filter at Target that's made to filter catbox odors. This filter is especially handy because it has a nice little computer fan in it that is the same diameter as the PVC pipes that my grow box uses. I also got a somewhat bigger TruAir carbon filter that's available at Target and Walmart. It seems that you should also be able to just put some carbon filters in your growbox and let them passively absorb odors.
