What would you do if made dictator of the US?

holy shit man, he just said he'd have the government pay for transit. he didn't say everything in the world would be free, he didn't say nobody has to work, all he said was one department, that being transit, would be paid for, just like when a nation pays for medicare, or education. if the government can put money into all the other programs such as healthcare, education, drug-rehab, environment, cancer research, overall medical research, massive military's, I'm sure this isn't that far fetched an idea and the billions upon billions wasted in millitary could be redistributed. Believe it or not, government-subsidized public services have existed before!

The government has done a terrible job managing healthcare, education, the environment and just about every social service I can think of. The last damn thing I want to do is give them more control over my life especially when they have proven them selves poor stewards.

What would all of these freebees mean for our private sector? How many privately owned taxi cab companies would go out of business because of your generosity? So instead of paying my fellow American I can just pay higher taxes to have â??the manâ?� do it for me.

Our strong military policies are necessary and will never go away so you most defiantly would pay higher taxes. Think about it free transit in every American city/town (not exactly chump change.)

exactly... theres no such thing as a free lunch, spombody would have to pay for it being free (the tax payer) which means people that don't work get free rides and abuse this , completely underminding the system
