it was an idea, not running my mouth, i just think that there is so many useless things that money is pumped into that you should take it from there and put it into other things eg transit

but if you do what you said you will be able to ride to where ever on a bus for free... there's just a better chance it will be blown up by a terrorist.

there will be normal routes, nothing changed except there will be no cost. If a terrorist wanted to blow up a bus i'm sure they could get the few dollars to ride on it.

While we are at it why don't we just make everything free. Why the fuck should anyone actually have to work for anything?....after all the government can just pull the money off of the money tree they have growing in the rose garden to pay all of the grown up bills while we can use our money to buy video games. This is brilliant we could just stay home smoke pot and be spoon feed by the government all day while invisible "government" people go to work for us and do our actual jobs.

yeah but you said cut the funding towards national security( spying on americans) which means more terrorists will slip into the country making it less safe than it already is.

the spying on americans was done illegally, while they talked on the phone with people in their everyday lives at home. I am 100% in support of homeland security but they can keep terrorists out legally by increasing border security etc.

i just read the thread title and havent read any of the responses but what i would do if made dictator of the u.s. would be go to war with iraq and any other 3rd world country with massave natural subsidiaries hope for rain in the ghettos and places of suburban massas like new orleans then turn my back once the rain begins, place all my friends in possitions of power such as supreme court congress fema and shucks why not the KKK as well regardless of past experience or lack of, i'd ignore health insurance issues damn it if u cant afford to go see a doctor then a doctor cant afford to see you, id authorise assasination attempts on leaders of other social parties such as chave and castro then ban any social or business ties with them once those attempts fail i'd begin a world wide "coalition" of nations to combat anyone who stands up against tirany greed and corruption although my "coalition" would be mainly comprized of my country and any country that needs my country to survive...which makes it a 3 nation coalition against the rest of the world..i wonder how good my odds would be...next i'd call every and anyone who dissagrees with my plan of world domination...i mean world coalition a terrorist and you know the rest..also i'd ban any other country or nation in the world the power to produce there own nuclear materials for economic advance or otherwise although daily nuclear warheads are produced within my boarders with absolutely no economic or technological principles other then a mere slap inthe face to the world body..just because i make the rules doesnt mean i'd have to obide by them...then again these are just my ideas and fictional depictions of what would happen were i DICTATOR of the u.s. and have no barring in any way form or attribute to any similiar events past or present in world history...also GOD BLESS AMERICA(vote for me LOL)

holy shit man, he just said he'd have the government pay for transit. he didn't say everything in the world would be free, he didn't say nobody has to work, all he said was one department, that being transit, would be paid for, just like when a nation pays for medicare, or education. if the government can put money into all the other programs such as healthcare, education, drug-rehab, environment, cancer research, overall medical research, massive military's, I'm sure this isn't that far fetched an idea and the billions upon billions wasted in millitary could be redistributed. Believe it or not, government-subsidized public services have existed before!
