i'm not gonna bash this idea until i hear you're explanation of how this would work, so please explain this.

well, people would take busses, trains, and trolly's, and it would be free because the government picks up the tab.

Some more conservative Americans may find me a bit too socialist for their tastse, but everybody's whelcome to contribute their vision.
