my friend got busted last night when he went to go get weed he had 2 ounces on him and about 1000 dollars for other people (650 of it was mine). they said that they were looking for a stalker and he fit the discribtion. they came up to him and just started seaching him. he also had a scale with him so that ment he had intent to sell or somehting.

he was gone for so long that i called him and they ansewred his cell. (thank god i didn't say nothing about weed). he thinks they bugged his cell phone becuase they had the back of it off.

Cell phones and wireless home phones don't need a tap. They transmit in open air waves and the cops just have to sit down the block with a reciever. All legal! There was a case in Iowa where the dude took it to the Supreme Court and it was ruled as such. They were probably looking for either something stashed or more than likely the serial number of the phone to get past records.

Once when me and my friend were caught in a field smoking one cop came up behind us with a flashlight and told us to turn around. My friend tossed his pipe away which the cop saw and i flicked a joint away that he didnt see. He called for backup and this cop car came flying at us through the field and stopped in front of us. We were both cuffed and sat on the ground, when this cop started saying don't even try running cuz I can do a mile in x minutes. I wanted to roll my eyes, but instead got driven home cuffed because my friend took the heat for his ounce he had in his car. He was arrested, sux.

If he says nothing you shouldn't have any worries. NEVER talk ANY buisiness on a wireless phone whether it's in your house or a cell (GOLDEN RULE!)

Seriously though, you might want to cut him some slack on the cash. Between lawyer fees, fines, court costs, assessments....they're gonna make him bleed cash! Remember, it was a team effort in the score and when the team loses, everybody takes a hit. If he keeps his mouth shut and takes the crap from the courts....he took his hit.
It would just be a good gesture to a fellow stoner. Last thing he needs right now is "friends wondering" about their cash. Just my opinion.
