Police Raid Nabs Seeds For A 'Pot Farm'
Norfolk and Chesapeake Police raided a Norfolk home Friday morning and found the makings of a pot farm.
They arrested three people, 26-year-old Kelly Bonner, 27-year-old James Ratliff, and Jason Fre.
They live together in an apartment on Connecticut Avenue in the Colonial Place section of Norfolk. Police seized 13 marijuana plants from an apartment on Connecticut Avenue in Colonial Place.
A police informant saw the plants behind a padlocked false wall in the apartment and called police. Neighbors say they never suspected a thing.
"There were lots and lots of plants and they were tearing it up because they built a false wall and shelves and all that stuff," said Minta Cook, a neighbor who watched the pre-dawn raid. "They had a little farm going on there." The three people are facing eight felony charges.

Let me get this straight. They let the informant into their house? Also isn't it a rule not to tell anyone u are growing? I guess I am just paranoid. Sounds very careless to me.

I'm not sure how it worked, but I, guess, the informant knew of the operation beforehand?
And, you're right, How did this informant see it, if it was behind a padlocked wall? Was he moving walls around?

There was that guy who lived in Aragona, in Virginia Beach, who was caught with $500,000 worth of weed and now 10 guys, four illegal immigrants, were caught with "nearly nine pounds of cocaine and eighty-four pounds of" Pot.

Gotta supply 500,000 in Virginia Beach, alone.
If everyone smoked one gram/day, that would be 224 million pounds of Merry Jane.
