500+ Seeds, limited space. -Journal-
Starting a small crop, around 500 seeds of various types, ranging from some good skunk, to average schwag. Started off today by gathering some paper plates, layin' some napkins in the plates, moistened the napkins, layed the seeds as evenly as possible in the plates and covered the seeds with a few layers of napkins ending with some more warm water on the top layer of napkins. A medium amount of napkins ensures that the water concentration is more spread out, rather then concentrating around the seeds, possibly giving them too much water. Cover the plate with the same type of paper plate, to ensure the seeds stay in a dark environment during the sprouting process. Tomorrow we will uncover the plates to see how well the germinating process is proceeding. We will take pictures and post as we progress throughout the germinating and flowering process. Please post questions and comments only in this thread.
Our operation will include germinating the seeds, and the first few weeks of the plants life inside. After we condition the plants by bringing them outside during nice parts of the day, we will finally transplant to an outdoor growing area. Total plants anticipated after germination will be around 200 - 250. We are growing in a humid, tropical area in southern louisiana, we've had some upper 80's during january, so i think it is a good time to start, allowing the plants to mature a little before we place them in the colder soil environment will help with the transplanting process. We're not using any special lights, ventillation systems or special fertilizers, just some straight up mary jane growing, because i know alot of people out there just dont have the money for the extra stuff, either that, or they just dont have the resources or availability of the advanced growing techniques. So here's a raw, uncut and pictured Journal documenting our growing adventure.Mary Go Round Reviewed by Mary Go Round on . 500+ Seeds, limited space. -Journal- Starting a small crop, around 500 seeds of various types, ranging from some good skunk, to average schwag.
