    Stronger Marijuana?

The U.S. government simply said it was stronger; manipulated samples / statistics to portray that alter-reality.

At the rate they're going claiming it's getting stronger and stronger, we should soon see super-satuated cannabis that is just a glob of pure THC ...

But wait, there already practically is such a thing ... tinctures of cannabis, which often contain upwards of 40% THC ... tinctures have existed for centuries - and were once widely used in the medical profession in the U.S. in the 18th, 19th centuries, and even well into the 20th century.

    Stronger Marijuana?

about a year, there was a high times or a cannabis culture that had pictures of some 70's buds.

they had the top 5 strains of that time, maui wowie, yukon gold etc, and compared them to the same strains today.

the 70's bud looked like shit and the new bud looked like the shiznet

    Stronger Marijuana?

I started smoking back in '82 and from what I've experienced, today's top quality weed isn't any better than top quality weed 20 years ago. There's just a lot more of it going around. Back then I might get something really, really good once or twice a year. Now all I get is top quality seedless dank. So, I think that if you looked at the average THC content of all weed sold in 1975 and compared it to the average THC content of all weed sold in 2005, the numbers from 2005 would be much higher. But that has nothing to do with the inherent potentail of the marijuana itself.

I read an article in the paper a while back that said the main difference is that, in the past, most weed sold in the U.S. was mass produced in Mexico and smuggled in. The focus was quantity, not quality. Now, however, most weed sold in the U.S is grown in the U.S. or Canada by people who take pride in their work and make the effort to grow good weed.

    Stronger Marijuana?

Hmmm..I've seen alot of interesting points. I still believe that eventually people mixing different strains caused the belief of stronger marijuana lol.
