    ""Grizzly Man""

I just watched the documentary on Bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell, and I must say its inspirational and motivating. I have a ton of respect for the man, he was nature's perfect servant....I wish the best for his family.

Just wanted some feedback from anyone thats watched the film???

great great film IMO...I think all the time he spent out in the wilderness however kind of drove him crazy, i mean it's so hard to imagine what it would be like living in the wilderness for months ALONE...I respect Tim greatly and highly suggest to anyone who hasn't seen it, to go out and rent it.

I watched most of it too. Very good. Reminds me a lot of the book "Into The Wild" the true story of Chris McCandless (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/038...Fencoding=UTF8) who was also mentally unstable and went to Alaska and died. I recommend that book to everyone!!

I will say this about the Discovery Channel. The amount of commercials they ran during "Grizzly Man" was just down right insulting to everyone that tried to watch it!! It really pissed me off, that is why I am downloading it and going to watch it that way. Seriously they were showing more commercials than show and I just refuse to sit through that kind of crap. It was about double the normal amount of commercials they show for their other programming. I really wish more people would just not tolerate that level of commercialization. After all Timothy Treadwell didnā??t make ANYTHING for what he did and he certainly would not be happy with the discovery channel for doing this!

Anyway I am looking forward to watching this commercial free so I can actually follow it, my download finishes in 19 mins.

Yeah, trust me if this show moved you at all the book "Into the Wild" will in a big way. Everyone I know that has read it is the same way. It one of those things that you cant get out of your mind for weeks after you finish it.

And I donā??t mean to take away from "Grizzly Man" or Treadwell but Treadwell and McCandless's stories are so extreamly similar and the book about McCandless just covers a lot more than this movie did about Treadwell. It would be so interesting to know if Treadwell read "Into the Wild", given the subject matter, Alaskan location, and its popularity when it came out I can not imagine that he didnā??t read it. That makes both that much more interesting.
