I've always thought a good idea for a cannabis forum/info and stuff, like overgrow, should be named something that doesn't give away that it is illegal info.. Something like, shoelaces.com or something. Something we only know.

And not to hook up with High Times magazine. I LOVE HT, but come on, if you're trying to stay up and running, you don't advertise in one of the worlds largest cannabis magazine.

Honestly if it took webmasters doing that there would be none of these sites up at all. Perhaps owning/running one of these sites will bring a closer eye, but I can say that it wasn't brought down because of the name overgrow.

I advertise my 420 site on google, so my ads are seen all over the world literally. Fortunately for me my website is not cause for my government to have me arrested.

But seriously if we were to use names like shoelaces.com, there would be less of us in there, but probably just as many feds. What it comes down to is just be careful what kind of information is being exchanged. Can the government of the country the website's server is hosted on find out what you've been doing? Not if you don't leave a paper trail, errr, electricity trail? Don't jump on the first opportunity to give out your address or full name. just be careful, but don't get paranoid like many are. Use your head!!
