    hey humboldt-i used to use the ho and garden. the guys at the grow store were pushin it really hard so i decided to try it. i quit shortly after. my girls just didn'y really respond well to it, so i changed to cuting edge. now, there is just as big possibility that i was doin something wrong as it bein ho and garden's fault-but i just switched to something i knew worked and the ladies resonded great!!! that was the proof i needed. the more i checked into the H&G the more i learned the reviews of it were mediocre. you'd think the guys at the store were workin for H&G??? where you at in humboldt. i'm up north of arcata.:rasta:

    Here is a little "tidbit" of INFO'...You can interchange Advanced Nutrients 3-part's w/ General Hydroponics #-part. since I am confident that they are the same product;

    The last time I got a gallon of Bloom I got the GH Bloom.
    I have always used AN 3-part. I still have AN-micro, and grow. I will probably never run out of grow, because i veg only a couple weeks, or only a couple seedlings at a time.

    micro on the other hand is running low, and when I run out I will probably just buy the cheaper GH gallon of micro.

    I just thought this might clear up 3-part differences for you, and/or save some of you folks, a BUCK. So I hope this helps. lw

    another note. I use the same recipe for my potted soil plants, but if anything, I err on the side of less nutes in soil,
    i.e.; I nute, then water 2wice, then nute, then water 2wice (every 2-3 days...according to soil dryness).

    I could probably nute harder, but I lost a real pretty plant, right at the end, due to NUTEBURN...later lw
