Watering Question..
Well I was wondering. When I start growing how will I know to not overwater or underwater my plants. I watched this DVD and they watered their plants with 200 millimeters of water during veging, in pre-flowering they gave their plants 300 millimeters then on the last few weeks of flowering they began to give the plants 400 millimeters of water. They had a British accent and I dont understand measurements (I'm not retarded :P) so I dont know if they said millimeter or milliliter but I'm pretty sure they said millimeters lol. Anyways if I choose to water my plants like this what sized pot should I get? Because I'm pretty sure if I get a giant pot or a slightly smaller plant than they used I wouldnt water as much. Also they had the little holes at the bottom of their pots so just incase they overwater some of the liquid will leak out I guess...So can some one help me out here? Please dont ignore the Orange ^_^.

Watering Question..
dude im sure they would have said mililiters not mmeters otherwise it wouldnt make sense.
keep them moist when they are very young so the tap root stays wet.
then when they get bigger u will get the feel for how much they need by how the plants look and how dry ur soil is under the surface.
also its probs better to underwater rather than overwater if u get what i mean.
if the leaves are droopy then give um some water!im deep undercover here. its all lies!

People usually just water when they think the soil is mostly dry. You can check this by sticking your finger about an inch into the soil and checking for moisture. Sometimes it's hard to really tell if its moist or not but you'll get the hang of it. Then, when you can afford it, you should get a quality moisture meter (the cheap ones tend to fail a lot). The people who make videos are USUALLY made for people who don't even know the basics or to just be something fun to watch.

Watering Question..
Ok...well thanks for the help but I think these guys knew their shit lol. It was a good vid and the strain they used was even real. The only down part of this vid was it was made by rich people who could afford a nice set-up. I know my set-up will look nothing like what they had lol.
