I dumped my last girlfriend because she was insecure (and completely unreasonable). I got a new and better girlfriend who is secure and quite reasonable. Talking is great.. but many people don't want to talk (even despite trying for three years). My ex did some wacky things to assure herself that I'd stay with her, but ironically it wound up scaring me away.
