Hands down MH, I've seen 7 foot plants under a 250w MH. But lets keep in mind CFL run ALOT cooler and can be keeep right on top on the plant. If you keep the plant real close and then put it under a HP for Flowering you'll still make out good, but MH will produce more nodes which mean more bud
