I disagree, people just think they want unbiased news. What they actually want is news that goes along with all the brainwashing they've already received. If they can be tricked into believing it's unbiased, all the better.

Fox news Reliable...MSNBC just picks up the scraps left over by CNN/FOx News...CNN is severly Bias to the left, usually wont even allow a Conservative on their show unless he rides the line of Conservative/Liberal. Liberals usually wont show up on Fox news cause they dont want their following to learn the truth

Most if not all news outlets seem to be geared towards making money and selling advertising. Very often, I have noticed that the most "fair and balanced" news, not "news stories" but actual news comes from NPR. Remember I said the actual news not their various editorials and stories and human/animal intersts pieces. They seem to give news from the nation and worldwide that is just plain news, no embellishments, no "factors" or "spin zones" or any of that crap and for the most part, they do give both sides of the fence on most issues. Not to say that public radio does not lean to the left most of the time with greenpeace, global warming etc, but they almost always give you the opposing viewpoint on most issues.
Gone are the days of actual journalists and reporters (Cronkite, Murrow, etc) doing the news as opposed to the barbie and ken types they have now that just look pretty and read copy written by some slave labor interns who write whatever they are told to write. You really do have to listent to a variety of sources, whatever their bias, and attempt to piece together the truth on your own.

I have posted before that I read several different State Newspapers and the SAME story is always told differently but similar..anyway I just read them all..in between the lines and form my opinion. I do have to say though I believe there are just happenings in Washington that ARE protecting us and some things should not be printed to afford us our protection..just my viewpoint. Some things we don't need to know.
