I'd just like to know if anyone hear has ever tried one and what happened. I also understand that these are powerful tools no matter how you believe they work. and the weird thing is we used 2 different ouija boards, one was a proper bought board (cardboard) and the other was just an image of one we printed of the computer onto a A3 size paper...the print out ended up working better and we used it 90% of the time

its amazing how you can contact the dead via something as simple as a piece of paper...

i see someone thinks they met a demon... who was MOST LIKELY nothing more than a very disgruntled soul. even souls can become confused and believe they are something they are not, to the point of becoming that something.

if you meet someone with problems through an Oija board, talk to them, connect with them, get to understand their predisposition, and help them understand they must move on!

During this past dark summer of mine, I went ahead and bought a ouija board. Not a Milton Bradley one, but I found some cool boards online and ordered a handcarved one. It's pretty cool and I took some time picking out the best one that I wanted (Each board can have its own little personality based on its design). I figured if I was going to do this, I was going to go all out.

Anyhow, it shouldn't necessarily matter on the board but more about your state of mind. If you believe and stay focused, hey, something might happen. But if you treat it as a joke and don't believe it is real, then it won't be. Do try and get creative though and buy your 'own' board. Stay away from those Milton Bradleys. They're just mainstream and lame. And they don't work as well (so I've heard).

The funny thing is, I never actually tried channeling spirits. I had the board out while I smoked and took abstract photos. When I smoke, I love to take pictures and do it all the time. But when the board was out I had a pretty freaky illusion and that was my fault for even doing what I was doing. My mind played tricks on me but nonetheless freaked me the fuck out. It is as real as you want to make of it. From this one experience alone, I'm a believer and the board is definitely a gateway.

Ever since my last ouija board experiences (Oct. '05) I have had the worst luck in my entire life. Got arrested, car broke down, might lose my job, and so on. NOTHING has gone right for me. Is this just a streak of bad luck or did I mess around with something I shouldn't have? Who knows.

Just be careful, research the proper channeling methods online. Believe, stay focused, and be 'better' than the spirits/demons/whatever you run into. Have confidence and have power. Make sure you are the one that controls the board. Many of these 'good' spirits are evil ones just playing with you.

I've had the same happen to me without using the board, that is mere coincidence. Don't we have bad luck once in a while? There is no such thing is luck either, you get what you ask and work for. And if you notice many of those answering in this forum are being sarcastic, not realistic cause they see what a joke it is. People that don't know any better fall for that and many other things though. Also, check who is telling you, are they reliable sources? Scholars on the issue? What is their basis for their believes? First hand knowledge or hearsay? If first hand knowledge, what proof do they have of it's supernatural effects? Be always critical, always ask questions, always know that if you believe somebody on just their word then most likely it will be easy for any moron to convince you of stuff without your researching it first. Look at who wrote the page, letter, website, book, etc. before you make your own conclusions based on evidence, not on emotion or fear.

Bottom line, from experience, Ouija boards are bullshit!
