Medical Marijuana Info Please.

Can somebody please link me to a place I can get some info. I need to know if my State permits it. Today, one of my MD's put me on morphine. I've only ever had morphine in the hospital so I've been nervous to take the first one.
I'd really rather be able to smoke legally if possible.
