Hello CB Yes a 600 watt MH should do very well for vegitive growth
Also if required to a MH does produce enough red light to induce flowering, although it is not as good as an HPS for that job.

I would say that 20c is enough for growing in, mine are growing a lot colder than that at the moment, it does however cause the plants metobolism to slow down if it's too cold.

mand Reviewed by mand on . Newbie grower need help?! Hi i'm new to growing and have got my self a grow lamp, reflector and a 600 w sodium lamp and some cheap nirvana seeds. The question is I'm growing in the attic and the light is hanging 3 or 4ft above the attic floor, the light goes bright white when I first switch on and then dims slightly then goes yellow colour, is that ment to happen. Also I would like advice on heating, sometimes it gets warm in attic but most the time its about body temp or above, is that ok or do I need to get a Rating: 5
