The strain of weed really does help to determine how burned out you get. A really strong indica will practically put you to sleep when you first get high and will most likely send you off to nappy time a few hours later. A good sativa strain, however, will give you a more energetic high with less burn out afterwards. And, like justinsane mentioned, schwagg and mids always seem to lead to more drowsiness than really good weed.

I've found the best way to avoid the drowsy, burned out, feeling is to use a vaporizer instead of smoking. You tend to get a much cleaner "up" high that just wears off without leaving you burned out.
