Past strains are crap compared to what is grown nowadays.... in the 70's, the average THC content of weed (per ATF figures) was from 0.2 to 2%.

Ok, nowadays, the chronic that your smoke, is between 15 and 20% THC content.

In the old days, all this shit was grown outdoors. Now, it's grown indoors, getting SCRoGed, LSTed, grown hydroponically, with super fertilizer, bloom boosters and 1200Watts of artificial Metal Halide & High Pressure Sodium lights.
I'm happy to say that today's chronic will kick "Acapulco Gold's" ass any day.

Yup...I've toked alot of AG,back in the 70's,some here in Texas and mostly up around Chicago,back when I was in the Navy. I used to pay 35-40$ a quarter for it. I used to go out on the strip near the base and git a bag and head off to a local creek bottom,where I'd take out my pocket bong and fill it with some ice water I grabbed along the way..and then proceeded to git fried ! :stoned:

The sun-shine went from a regular yellow,to a metallic golden light and the grass got greener and the sky got bluer..and it always gave me a possum-eatin-shit grin...lol.

Hell, I got that beat Torog(glad to see you out of your cave) I smoked panama red and acapulco gold...back just out of highschool...there are some innercircle cali guy's with plants and they occasionally seel or give out clones.
