Really wierd
Last night after going out to smoke I came back in and I was having what seemed like closed eye visuals. I know it's wierd but I swear that I could see everything perfectly with my eyes closed. I even was able to clearly see my dog walk into the room, lie down on my rug, and when i opened my eyes he was right there like I had seen with my eyes shut! The only difference was that when my eyes were closed rather than seeing definative objects I could only see black outlines of what I was looking at with crazy colors inside the borders.
Has anyone else ever experienced this?memoriesofhash Reviewed by memoriesofhash on . I'v experianced something like it but I wasn't stoned. I think you might have actually induced the beginning of an OBE (out of body experiance) or something close to it. But I have had some vivid closed eye visuals after smoking before, thats always fun.

Well, for most people, marijuana enhances the senses, so it could have been like "seeing" with your other senses. Sort of like how if you lose your sight, your other senses get more powerful.
Another is the beggining of an OBE, were you tired or "zoning out" when it happened?\"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind.\" - Bob Marley

Yup no doubt, it was an OBE.
OBE = Out Of Body Experience
apparently, your "soul" or "spirit" or "consience" drifts out of your body, I've had one, but I don't really believe it. (reasons listed below)
I don't think it was a full on OBE though.
heres what I think happened
-You sit on couch, brain goes into REM because your tired.
- dog starts to move, a dream begins and because your brain says that your dog is probably going to X, it connects the sounds and smells to an image, which you see in your dream.

OBE= Out of Body Experience.
Quite simply, your mind leaves your body and you view things from an immensely clear, unclouded, perspective. Often people report feelings of floating above their body, watching things unfold.
That said, I know exactly where you're coming from. I have closed eye visuals a lot when I'm really stoned.

When I (believe) I had an OBE (the beginning of one at least) I was laying on my bed and after a while I noticed I was looking at my TV stand and junk in my room. I just stared at the same spot until I realized I couldn't blink. Then it dawned me that my eyes wern't open and I quickly forced them open and saw my TV stand again. I closed them not knowing what to expect but it was just blackness like normal. This had happend before I found that site and it pretty much described what happend to me. It's a fun thing to pratice though, that and lucid dreams...
