Watched it on PPV last week. Great effects but DEFINATELY have to agree it wasn't really one of his best performances. Think the Scientology is warping the poor boy.:dance:

I believe that would be the Razzy awards and although I have yet to see the movie, I'm sure it's a well deserved award.

I actually liked the movie war of the worlds, i thought it was very well done, and it made alot of emotions rise up in me watching man kind get slaughtered... I really dont see why so many people hated it, it even got good ratings from the critics which is unusual

Yeah, I like it, too. I thought he was down-to-earth in his performance. I guess, it's just not the same if it's not Top Gun.

the movie starts off good, then it builds up and becomes great!...then it ends just like that. its the ending thats shit. why couldnt the aliens kill off the humans, they could of made it atleast another hour long i mean, if they had been planning the attack for MILLIONS of years you'd think the aliens would how know to survive. cant beleive it was the birds that killed em in the end.

I thought it was a very good film aswell....for the same reasons....i felt very emotional at a few points in it....very weird for a film to do that to me....but anyway i thoughroughly enjoyed it.....

The ending SUCKED imo though.....it didnt ruin the film for me, but it did deffonatly SUCK!

eh i thought the ending wasnt its high point but i wouldent call it sucky, if you think about it, it is a real possible way that they could die.... think about the indians being killed off by small pox and what not when the pilgrams came to north america,



its waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that damn mel gibson signs movie where they die because water burns em.... that was LAME!

signs was better than war of the worlds story wise. signs was a realistic flick, thats what would really happen if aliens invaded. not all this action.
