Do you want someone coming up to you, please don't smoke weed? Cmon, i'm not denying any damage meth would cause to one in the long term, but in the short-term it's ridiculous, other than loss sleep, and anxiety. Your mere opinion on you shouldn't try meth it's bad, is no different than some idiot coming up to you and saying "don't smoke weed, because it gets you stoned, and it's a waste of money." Personally I tried meth a couple of times, and I didn't enjoy it either time.

Yes, meth will destroy your brain. My long term use is the reason I am incapable of holding a coherent conversation on any subject. Certainly the ease of manufacture gives easy access to morons, they then do what morons will do given easy access to any drug save pot, they fuck themselves up. Darwin at work.

Heather I completely agree with you that meth is terrible. Because it is all chemicals, it is purposely made to be highly addictive and completely unnatural. However, realize that the only people that will heed your advice are people who already believe what you do. Those who wish to try meth are probably going to try meth whether you make a thread condoning it or rebuking it.

I agree with you completely. This is something I have dealt with on a first hand basis. More than just, like all of my old friends, but through employment with a state agency. I didn't mention it before because I am in no way bragging. That was the worst job I have ever had. But it isn't even JUST the crap in this drug. When someone goes off the deep end on it, which happend 95% of the time, the go WAY off the deep end. And these people breed like mad, a condom being the last thing on their minds, use during their pregnacies creating meth babies (which I have seen them. They have seizures, and their lungs colapse and stuff from withdrawl). And then these kids are in un-livable enviroments. Not to mention the lab being a HUGE danger to those kids.

It is an epidemic. The "crank" that people were doing 20 years ago is not the same as this stuff out today. And this a very new drug. We know what people who have smoked pot for 50 years look like. We don't know what meth does to us in the long haul. You know the tingly feeling in your hair? Those are your brain cells sizzling away by the second. People will be in a home, unable to care forthemselves after many years. Not to mention the depletion of bone density, and mass. Wasting syndrome.

I would lay my life down now to be able to get rid of this thing comptely. If meth hasn't touched your life very seriously, it will soon. Someone you love will be destroyed by it. It happens with alcohol, it damn sure happens on meth, 500 fold.

Heather, your heart is in the right place. Keep marching sistar!! Yes I do smoke, and I have even done meth, Maybe 5 times or so? I've done did it all (almost) years ago, bach when it was crank, which it's WAY more potent now. I have lost some enamel off the inside of my top back molars. And seriously, I only did it a few times YEARS ago. I have never had a cavity, so loosing enamal had to have been that.

Look at how these meth heads look, no teeth. Like the living dead, zombies. If it is doing that to the outside of your body imagine what it is doing to the inside.

I also wanted to point out that the town I live in is covered with the shit. People I hang with aren't into it. And we can't find bud!! You could probably score meth by picking up someone random walking, but even the biggest dealers here never have the green, just the white.

Seriously, you know how many threads we've had concerning this subject? Cocaine/Heroin/Meth is baaad!1 We know that it's addictive and that people get hooked and we know that it's composed of a bunch of shit, but you know what? Everyone knows and they still do it... so what is this going to do? Repeating the same stuff that's been said and forcing to explain again that... people who have had their lives or families lives ruined because of a Meth addiction, abused it. There is no way you can try it once and not ever try it again, no possible way, so it's your fault for thinking you could get away with smoking Meth habitually; one of the most well known drugs and one that is well known to be the most dangerous drug. I've tried it and I have ADD... and I've haven't tried it since.
