here's a tip for keeping half ass internet girlfriends even longer. talk to them one on one. girls usually don't like to be put on a chopping block. especially on a public marijuana forum on the internet. these are better solutions.
1) phone 2) AIM/yahoo/msn/etc 3) email.

We're just fucking with you, dude. I suffer from social anxiety, fantasize about a different girl in almost all of my classes at school and rarely talk to them. My love life is probably more depressing than yours, but you just got to be positive, find things your good at or enjoy doing to keep your mind occupied, and always try to be optimistic.. no matter what the situation.

You also have to think long term. Right now, I can barely get any girls. I'm fairly attractive, smart, witty, and if you get to know me I'm pretty funny, but that's not enough for me apparently because I'm so shy. But I'm getting in shape, learning a second language, excelling in school, reading a lot and learning how to cook. By the time I'm in college I'll be light years ahead of almost every one my age, that my confidence alone will attract girls.

You can't just feel sorry for yourself. I did that for way too long, but thankfully my friend changed me before I basically died(by simply just going through life feeling sorry for myself).

Also, everyone becomes motivated once in awhile. Whether it be witnessing someone be great at what you want to become good at, or simply just reading a book or even a quote, you get inspired to do certain things. You get a lump in your throat and you want to change. You wake up the next morning and it's gone. You have to cease the moment and set your mind.

It will be VERY hard to change for the better, but you always have to fantasize about the rewards. Don't worry about other people. If you have to worry about what they think, that's an indicator that you're both unconfident and that they probably don't like you. People makes jokes to friends all the time, but rarely say them in public sometimes even if they know it will get laughs. People are confident around people they know and like, and if you're NOT confident around them, then they don't know you. But if you have the confidence to change and become better at life, you'll have the qualities of someone that person WANTS TO KNOW, both increasing your popularity and self-esteem greatly.

Don't be swayed, either. My life is currently becoming much better and I really want to start writing a novel(basically after the idea this post is based on--people not chasing their dreams) but whenever I'm by my laptop mostly, I say to myself "Nah dude, I'll start writing later. I have to go to somewhere soon," as well as other excuses. This is hypocritical, but you can't be swayed by minor things.
