    Single Plant SCROG Grow.....Good Idea?

Hey everyone. My baby is about 5 feet tall now and has that christmas tree type look to her. I want to put her in the flowering room and make an SCROG, but i was wondering if i would have needed to do that when she was Veggin or if i will still work. Also, if it is cool to make the SCROG grow in flowering, should i just put her under the screen (bent sideways)? or should i pull the little white hair-balls up through the screens holes to give her a head start? Any and all input would be great. If this sounds like a good idea i will start a log and follow her until the end of flowering.

    Thanks

Sorry to have to say this but scrog is supposed to be done as it grows.Your best bet is super cropping your girl.
Work the stem gently till the plant bends in half....don't brake the stem....it will heal and continue to grow flowers....I'd do this before flowering it.because once you put her in flower it's going to double in size...good Luck and your yield should be huge...I say 1 pound at least.

Don't just go bending stuff...read up on super cropping first or you just might break your plant in half.

    Thanks for your replys.

-Da1, i know it is a little big oops....

-Mobay, know its a female, it has already started to flower on its own which i dont like because the pistils have turned brown and curled back up already. but at least im sure. My camera's fucked so i cant upload a pic now but i will soon.

-JDog, double in size????? ayyy... im gonna have to clear out my flowering room for this one. My room is 6 ft high, with about 55 inches between the floor and the light, it is 59 inches, long and 25 inches wide. You think i can pull it. And yeah i figured you were supposed to do that in veg, so im just going to tie it down. What is supercropping? does anyone have a link? ill start a log once i get my cam working.

hello all, i'm new to the forum but not to growing. i grow scrogg style and i put my girls under the screen about a week before going to flower. i do alot of topping and lst while in vegg so the plants are trained alot before the screen is put on. as others have said 4 ft in veg is a monster for indoors. what kind of light are you flowering her under? i think your best bet would be lst. just keep tying her down as she stretches and remember a plant can reach 2-4x it's original size at the start of flowering. that is strain dependent of course. sativas tend to stretch alot in flower, at least that is my experience. whatever you decide to do, i hope it works out well. here is a pic of my current 400hps scrog 19days into 12/12. the strain is white widow and it's 3 plants vegged for 6weeks from clones

    Hey justaseed,

    WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

That looks GREAT! i i hope to have something that looks alot like that. What size is your grow room? What size holes and what type of screen did you use for your Scrog grow? I am flowering under a 400w HPS, and my veg was under a 400w MH. I just went out and got a new digital cam so ill be starting a log very soon. The thing with her is she hasnt been topp'd so im thinking it would be best just to bend her over..haha (no pun intended). Are you in hydro or soil? Again those look great!

SS420: I'd suggest bending like every branch over including the main cola to try and give the plant more room to grow in height plus spread it out a little horizontaly. The branches will themselves begin to curl back upwards but I think you'll be fine. Just tie a lot of shit down. Now! Go NOW!!! Goodluck buddy <3
