sorry to tagged on your thread..imma newbies myself who trying to read and learn. im very interested in the Hydroponic growing. your hydro system looked fairy easy to setup. it seem like you're watering from the top down. I thought hydro system is suppose to feed nutrient from bottom up? in hydro system how often do you water your plant? thanks

shiloh my set is way ez to do! 5.5 inch net pots inna 2x2 tray w a fitting to drain hydroton Dutch Nuet Formuls feeding every 3 hrs for 15 min and a 175 MH light... LOL the whole set cost me like $375 ive been using it like this for 3 weeks (my plants are like 16" tall and bushy) and now i found a killer spot sellin air cooled w/glass 400W MH lights complete for $188 http://www.hydroponics.net/ all i need to do is swap out the bulb w a conversion bulb (400W sunmaster $70) for flowering. and as far as learnin s concerned this place is the best LOTSA free exchange and the HYDRO GODS (youll get to know em) make sure we dont get to far out there. my thing USED to be outdoors but after watching my sprout EXPLODE to 16" in just 3 weeks i CANT WAIT TILL I FIGURE OUT HOW TO GROW HYDRO OUTDOORS IN THE CALIF SUN...wheeeeee!!!

tell ya what tho the growth rate has slowed a bunch and i dont know why maybe its cuz im still using DNF for starters ? but the bottle says its good to veg with but when i look at others like Ducth masters and triflez the numbers are way different whadda ya think do i switch or go back to my books????
