This plant was placed outdoors on new years eve. She is growing a LOT more slowly then her indoor sisters but she is growing buds. This pic was taken very recently.

Yes if you start them indoors and get some size to them then you can flower them outdoors. A lot of people around here get two crops per year by flowering one in the late winter and another at the regular time. The spring crop is smaller then the fall crop but not by a HUGE amount.

I don't know the weather in nor cal but if your are growing in a container then the plants will need water a lot more then if they were straight in the soil.

If this is your first grow I would wait till spring and start em off the tried and true way.
