seriously, wtf is her problem. i dont really see what your problem is, her point about you killing her brother is the biggest crock of shit i have ever heard, and if she would rather fabricate some half-retarded reason for not smoking than having an intelligent conversation about it, then fuck her.

Tell her that you inhale MOST of that smoke so you'll die long before her brother.

Tell her it's asinine. Point out that not only are there much worse things for his lungs, but he'll also die of something else much sooner than he would be affected by your smoke.

first of all, the smoke from pot is probably a fraction of the smoke from the various cars trains and other vehicles used by man all over the world. Does she drive a car? tell her shes doing a much better job of killing her brother than you are. and besides, i'm betting in 20 years or so vaporizers will be the norm.

TV isn't necessary but her brother probably sits in front of it and receives radiation from it for 2-3 hrs a day

I personally think the strongest point you can make is that it's been proven that EVEN IF you smoke in the same room as her brother, the second-hand smoke hysteria is ALL BUNK. It's been disproven. You pose no health risk to anybody by second-hand smoke unless they have an allergic skin reaction, or you kidnap them, handcuff them, and force them to hotbox with you. I saw an interview w/ the guy who originally wrote the "scientific" papers on second-hand smoke, the guy who started all the hysteria, and he confessed he faked the report and was pressured into doing it. And subsequent studies have shown that even the effects of long-term second-hand smoke exposure are so arbitrary that they could even been good for you.

For more detailed info read:

Yep...the EPA originally said 3,000 people die each year from second-hand smoke. Now it's said that...ZERO die. Don't believe everything you read.

She is making that to simple. As each person takes a breath so much CO2 plus other things are taken into the lungs. Her brother is breathing in all the waste of the world not only weed smoke. In fact weed smoke should be the least of her worries. With the CO2 levels on earth rising and the pollution from cars, factories etc, he is breathing toxic waste from far away. But feel safe for now, the amount is so little that it should not harm him.
I wouldn't make a point of the Second-hand smoke because yes it does harm a person. My older sister has never smoked in her life (she's not the type of person...trust me here) anyways, she had to go to the doctor a few months ago. The doctor said that she needed to stop smoking. She tryed to tell him she never but he would not believe her. She had smokers lungs. When she explained the siduation to him that for all the years that we grew up both our parents have been smoking and in a large amount. They would not always try and avoid us while they smoked because, like come here seem to think, they didn't think they were doing damage. My aunt who spends much time here smokes as well. The three major people we grew up with smoked. (this does not include friends and other family members) She, my second oldest brother and I have grown up around this and our lungs have been affected. If a test was done on me and my brother (who now smokes, but before hand) i'm sure the same results would be found. I as well never smoked a day in my life, weed is a different thing. But before all that my lungs would still be a smoker lungs. Second hand smoke, no matter what anyone says, no matter the "tests" they find or the "proof", exists. Wither you choose to believe it, is another story.
