Help! What should I buy?
I am growing DWC with an 12" airstone in a 3 gal. res. One plant is very yellow and droopy. The other three are also droopy but not as yellow. They have been flowering for 4 weeks. I have done lots of research and thus far I found that I should buy. Carbo Load, Big Bud, and Pirhana. Now when I go buy these tomarrow do I still put in the powder bloom feed or just the new stuff! Is anyone else using these items and what has been your results? Pirahana is mainly for roots, carbo load is for vitamins and minerals and Big Bud is for just that! Sound good or do you have something thats better in mind. Thanks
Also, I have read that you can just snip the yellow bottom leaves off to make the plant consentrate on the flowers. Is that just hogwash?Mrs.WeedChick Reviewed by Mrs.WeedChick on . Help! Help! What should I buy?
If your lower leaves aren't getting much light, you can chop them off to allow the plant to better manage it's limited energy on the bud production of the canapy. But be carefull and ask an expert because I'm not sure how violent you should be! If you snip the wrong branches you might hinder the plants abillity to capture light by robbing it of important leaves!
Also by only cutting half of the leaf first ,and then cutting the whole leaf a few days later you will reduce the overall "shock" to the plant .

One 250hps sitting right on top of unit about 12" from the top of the shortest plant and only 5" from the tallest. Shortest plant is the one that is very yellow and droopy

Help! What should I buy?
mrs weed chick,
you are 4 weeks into flowering...
your stems look great but soemthing is wrong with the upper leaves.. a little to much curling...
yellowing of lower leaves is normal : )
I would be carefull trying to change nuts at this point in the game... you don't want to fry your plants!!
your plants are "turning off", "tuning out".... you probably can't do much at this stage of their growth (that is benificial) other than .. avoid doing more damge to your ladies...
Can you see your roots? Are they soggy and dying..?
I am leaning towards some sort of over/under watering or root oxygen deprivation...
