Dear fellow tokers, I was curious about the scientific explanations behind some of the stuff being high does to different people, physically and mentally. I was wondering if you could answer any of these questions, and if not if you could direct me to a book or other resource where I might find out.

Why does the mouth get dry?

Why does it make you giggly?

Why do the eyes get bloodshot?

Why does it make you tingly sometimes?

Why does it make it hard to focus and remember things short-term?

Why does it make some people paranoid?

Why does it make the heart beat faster?

Why does it enhance creativity for some?

Why do some like it and others not?

Why do you get tired afterwards?

Why does it make you interested in details?

Why does it give you crazy dreams?

Why...other effects?

Some guesses: I guess that the bloodshot eyes and raised heartrate have something to do with blood pressure. I bet that it makes people giggly simply because some of the body sensations kind of tickle you, or make you feel like you're on a roller coaster or something. I guess it makes some paranoid because they misinterpret the fast heartbeat, and it also heightens your senses so you can hear things around you and think the cops are coming or something.

Explanations?

Cheers----WSP
