First Acid Experience - Eyes Opened.

Justin you should check out peyote and peruvian torch, fucking excellent trip, and would be great to take and stroll through a nature reserve/national park (except if you experience nausea, but you do have 12 hours )

actually, last year i attempted to grow peruvian torch cacti, but i didnt research the growing techniques well enough for it to survive.

i have yet to try mushrooms - very hard to find this time of year i guess.

as i re-cap on my trip, i remembered a few things while i was laying in the bed in the darkness ready to go to sleep.

I was laying still on the bed, just staring into the darkness, i had my ipod playing The Doors - The End and the sound was more detailed than id ever heard before, i could hear the echos, i felt as if Jim was singing right in front of me.

As i stared up, i saw many patterns, like colorful dragons swirling around in the air. Then, out of no where, a firework of colors exploded. - I connected this to my soul , or life force, blinking and dancing in front of me. Free as a bird, able to do whatever it wanted to do.. it was then when i felt complete freedom and happiness.

Wow, that sounds really amazing. I've got to look into this Acid stuff. I have smoked plenty of marijuana before, inducing some very thought provoking / life changing experiences. I have also done Salvia Extract before, but it wasn't very good. I felt very empty, and it didn't leave me fulfilled. I will do some research on Acid and if there's anything interesting I'll post it here.

yeah make sure you research any psychedelics before you try them, as you never really know what to expect.

also to note: before i tried acid, the rumors i heard of it scared the hell out of me. but look it up on erowid, you'll be calmed to know that its not dangerous unless a very high dose.

Yah, laying down after a LONGG night of tripping is wild as hell. you lay your head down, and it just sinks and sinks into the pillow. Usually at that point, I am ready for it to be over, but after I tripped a couple times I became used to the sinking feeling, almost like I was on a boat out at see trying to sleep.

i tried smoking weed to make me tired, but i had some hydro, which doesnt make me tired after the comedown....

i was almost wishing i had some shwag to knock me out.

while acid will have you fucked up and shitfaced, its best feature is when you finally understand things. the theories you come up with are amazing. and i wouldnt want to trip at a party either. i didnt like tripping around a shit load of people, but being with a handful of friends is a-ok.

Yah I always have to smoke a shit load just to even begin to feel tired. Almost like making myself fall asleep. I usually just watch Tv until I sleep, like I remember my first trip I ended up watching the whole first season of that 70's show.

I'ts good to see that you have embraced the teaching potential of halucinogens.
In an interview with Dr. Stanislov Grof, Albert Hoffman(The man who discovered LSD and whose famous bike ride home inspired my avatar) said that he was dissapointed by all the hippie kids in the 60's who just took acid to get high, because it had such potntial for more beneficial applications, namely in phsycotherapy.
I came to the same realization that the "party scene" is not a good enviornment for acid or shrooms IMO, when I was on a mountainside at a bonfire with like 40 other people only three of which I knew. Looking back I realize that I should have left the scene and wandered off into the trees to find a better trip, but I didn't want to abandon my friends who were tripping as well.
In any case I'm glad to see that there are others who realize the true potential of there sacred substances.

The truth of acid and me that night was this - i wanted to be with the 2 other people who were tripping . We were all experiencing the same things, and i wanted it to be somewhat of a "tribal" experience with these 2 friends of mine. I wanted to explore everything instead of doing what everyone else was doing on a friday night,..

i was finally outside the box, and wanted to venture as far away from it as possible while i could.
