when thc is fresh on a live plant its in its acidic form i think its called thca (also i think all cannabinoids have an acidic form) and if i remember correctly its not psyoactive. as it dries it changes to its pysocative form. if u eat it in its acidic form i think it would convert in your stomach so u sohuld get high. I dont know for sure ive never eaten a bud. But i like to eat the stems sometimes.
