I am rooting some papaya cuttings later...the 'StonerStork'
dropped off a few from up North this AM...Thanks LN58

I just experimentd with r'wool (nightmare, but I am not through trying)
I tried Gen's rooting in perlite and that did not work for me...(I did save one beauty though)

so, I need an ego boost...back to Mad:upsidedowHydro unit
    for a recharge. LOL

Will post after the deed is done.

Go with the cloner. The papaya will do well. They do pretty good in rwool but I was going to go bubbler or I have the stuff to build what you got here. Seems like the rwool just holds too much water for some. Worked great on NL"S for me, first couple of grows. You look like you get a better root going with your cloner. I have to figure a way to keep my temps down better where I'm going to veg, clone and mother. I have an ice machine that make 165 pounds a day but I have to figure how to make some kind of manifold that will keep water temps down. Maybe floor system for them to set on like 3/4 inch pvc. I can keep ice in it when it's hot and run ice water floor. Any way GLAD to here you got them G should be getting his soon. This is like spy bizz. LOL. LOC out.

If you have an ice maker...run a plastic waterline thru it and it will cool everything down...add more line into icemaker to cool down temps and take line out of icemaker to warm up fluids. I am doing floor system in my nursery.

    great idea!

Here are a mess of papaya cuttings...these are cute little devil's

I took 14 of them and put them in Mad:upsidedowHydro aerocloner...these are in general veg room 4 feet under a 400mh sunmaster warm deluxe...I might move them to dedicated chamber w/fluoro, but...I need to go procure this season's 5 dollar mini fans...I say this season's, because they burn up after running 24/7; Every summer! then I will be able to dedicate areas to smaller projects.:smokin:

There were 4-5 left and I mixed them in with some mistyblue cuttings for my 2nd try r'wool rooting experiment.:sadcrying Do you like my box? Light is built in, but not wired yet.

those are 2 c99xnl5 seedlings started in rapid rooters, in the cup

Awsome, man I think they will do real well. The box is great. I can't wait to see roots. My ice maker is too far away to run a line and if I move it to my shed it will cause more heat. I was trying to figure a big cooler filled, with tube run through it. Might be a pain keeping it full but it's just a few months. I looked at pro chillers and it chilled me to the bone on prices. Where do you get the 5 buck fans at, I could use a few ? I know you will keep us updated. I just need to keep hydro fluid temps down a bit, the room temp for veg is good with vents. Papaya she lives on. yea , man. LOC, out.

do you keep rez in room with lights and transformer...if so, you should replumb and move rez out of room. (option1)

another option to cool rez...buy a small dormitory style frig and...again, put a coil of water line inside. you will have to modify frig...(option 2) where do I drill holes for cooler line?

    one final note...(option 3) take a big 40-50 gallon rez/barrel/drum???
and fill it with cold water, throw a 100 foot water line inside, recirculate rez fluids thru it and,...back to feeding rez...fluid cools as it travels the 100 feet into a cold barrel of water...this will lower your rez temps...goodluck bro,
It goes without saying I hope...to keep cooler barrel in cool dark place...

this last idea is feasible, even if you must use smaller cooler tank. experiment with this...I bet it work's great! Cheap Too! lw

Buy your fans at family dollar store or wally's when they have a sale...

In fact; I go to dollar store and buy 10 gallon sterlite tub's for 3.99...I know Z says not to use them, but I haven't had any problems...I take panda plastic and cover the top...black side down to kill reflection in rez and white side up, promotes reflection to underside of plants

also for anyone else that reads this...If you want to recirculate and want a good Pro rez...you can buy a 40 gallon rez (designed to be used with ebb and flow tables)for about 80 bucks...with all the hardware/connections...
If I only knew then, what I know... ...whatever
you can adapt these rez'z to any system you little mind designs. later lw

Man good idea's. I have now 4 small systems that will hold about 8 gallons each. Drip type. So I can change them out each month or so. 2 in flower and 2 in veg. The flower room is 4 x 6 with AC, ballast and dehumidifier. Keeps it all cool. If I put it just in the shed it gets way too hot. However I put my plant containers on 20 gallon containers in the AC flower room. I could fill those and run lines out to the others to keep cool. My shed is 12 x 16 and I'm trying to get all my stuff out of the house, ol lady thing. You know. Thanks man. I may have to run more electric out there, no prob.

So are you dripping to waste? recirculating all that distance in the sun might heat it right back up...

c'mon get the fridge and the drill and go to town heheheheheh lol///ps GEn's widow rooted!

Hey latewood you know I number the holes on my cloner and I also number the plugs too. That way when I have multi-strain grows I don't get confused. I have a word doc that has the same numbers and a place for notes.

    Just an idea.
