I wish reflexology would be able to correct the ghostly after-effects of severe double-vision.

Definition: Reflexology
Reflexology is a pressure point massage on feet and hands which is based on a system of zones and areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet. Those areas correspond through energy pathways to different parts of the body.
Through the stimulation of a pressure point, nerve endings are activated corresponding to specific parts of the body through a feedback loop of the neuronet in the brain.
The result of this stimulation causes:
1. The circulatory system to rise.
2. The immune system is activated and more capable of taking care of uninvited bacteria and viruses present in the body.
3. A deeper state of relaxation that brings about a shift in the neuronet from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting healing.

Beachguy--foot pain? could be easy! (search Plantar Fasciitis)
I always wore work boots (arch), then got some loafers (flat) for Xmas. Within 3 months, pain so bad I couldn't stand out of bed. Wake up, stand up, fall down in pain, crawl around!
Went back to work boots, pain totally gone in 1 month, no problem ever again.
Flat shoes are to blame. Shoes need arch. Nuf sed.

Pot for pain? I don't think its an analgesic in any way. I think what we hear about "medical marijuana" is distorted for political reasons. It can help you feel better.
Try explaining this to your mother (or government):
A) Mom, this drug makes me feel good! (bad)
B) Mom, this drug reduces my pain! (pol cor)

Did y'all know that elavil is good for moderating nerve pain ? My gal has bad feet and now that she's taking elavil, her foot pain has decreased, she used to complain about how hot her feet felt and how painful they were, now she doesn't hardly complain about such. Heck,I always thought that elavil was just good for mood elevation..lol.
Have a good one !

Some good info here. Thanks for sharing folks.
I have ankylosing spondylits and fibromyalgia, Basically my SI joints and spine are fusing, every joint in my body gets inflamed and muscle spasms are the norm. It's very painful and messes up sleep patterns. On a good day I feel like I have the flu...whole body aches. on a bad day I can barely walk.
I joined these boards to check out options.
Some anti-depressents are good for pain relief too. Cymbalta is one that sgows a lot of promise for some people.
I already take celebrex (anti-inflam) and enbrel (immune sepressent) and tylenol PM regularly. I also take stronger pain meds, muscle relaxers and sleeping pills as needed.

No, it's not foot pain. But, it stems from the top of it.

Sometimes using cannabis in ways other than smoking works medicinally.

I live in San Francisco's Mission District, which is Mexican American Majority, and they tell stories of how their parents and grand parents used cannabis in this way. I guess your obsticle might be to find a surplus of fan leaves, or other decent size leaves that would work for you.
My dad died due to complication brought on by Arthritis and the pain medication that he was prescribed. The old guy wouldnt use the method i speak of because he was a firm believer in obeying the law. Geez i wish he would of tried it. To see him in so much pain when there was an alternative for him to try, and he refused, still bothers me to this day.
I hope that this turns out to be helpful for you. Pain is a horrible thing to live with on a daily basis.
best of luck,
