weed and Arthritus

I personally have arthritus in my ankles, and i don't see how smoking weed is supose to help the pain. I've gotten so stoned, but I still feel the freakin pain!is medicinal weed way better or something??

I have degenerative arthritis setting into my back and I have 2 fused vertebrae,L-4 and L-5,and the only weed I can afford,is the regular street-grades,mostly mex-brick and skunk-brick,and it doesn't make the pain go away per se,but it does help alot in an anti-spasmodic way. I haven't really had the opportunity to try out medical marijuana grown for pain,but I do know that the thc content is much higher than street-grades,so you'd think that it works more effectively for pain relief.

I do know one thing for sure--chronic pain sucks ! I hope and pray,that yer pain eases.
