cannabis negates depression, untill you come down from the high, at which point is random, you could get worse, or jsut be depressed again.
if you're lucky you can retain soberity for some time before the depression kicks in again.
marijuana is the best, safest, and most effecient anti-depressant, even though it, itself, is classifyed as a depressant.

dont take perscription drugs, do not use pharmacuticals if you can help it.
the pharmacy is an establishment which capitolizes on sickness and disease.
their drugs only agitate the condition, while masking the symptoms, so as to ensure costomers, for if they simply cured these illnesses, they would have no costomers left!

I dont totally agree with Wolf about tablets 'covering up' the symptoms, but I recently quit my medication for mood swings and depression. I had been taking Sodium Valproate - 1600mg per day for mood swings - for about 2 years, and Lofepramine - not sure how much, 2 tablets a day for depression - for about 15 months, and just stopped taking them about a month ago. I didnt consult my shrink or GP about this, but I feel better than ever since Ive stopped. Since Ive quit, Ive had 1 minor mood swing and 1 VERY minor bout of depression, which just lasted a few hours.

Noticed that myself with tramadol, did take lexapro, but the side effects was worse than the damn depression. But for swim, skunkx works better.

Depends on body chemistry, and what sort of depression(and the severity) you have. I've taken meds for depression and got stoned and just became Happy High.
I've heard that mj was considered a depressant but I've never had that experience.

I just read an article where they did a study on rats using a super potent version of the cannanibinoid found in marijuana. These rats were given injections twice daily. They found that after receiving these injections for a period of time the rats became less depressed and anxious. They found that this drug promoted new neuron growth in the area of the brain that controls mood. Wonder what the govt will do if this turns out to work as well in humans?
