depression
I have been plagued by depression/anxiety for the past 8 years. I'm 44.
I have tried lots of different antidepressants only to be dissapointed. I've taken Provigil to boost mood and Klonopin to reduce anxiety. I took Tramadol
a mild opiod pain reliever, and it was the only med that really helped my depression. Long story short, have any of you used cannibis to treat depression/anxiety. Do you build up a tolerance.Do you go through major withdrawal if you have to wait a while between using times. If you use it for this purpose, which is the best way to use it. How long do the effects last.
I wouldn't even be considering this, but I'm getting desperate. I've already lost 8 years of my life to this crap, and I want to feel undepressed. I have a 14 year old, and even though I would be using for med reasons, I'd prefer he
not know. Please let me know if it has helped any of you in this category, and how much. Did it make your condition worse.elane hunt Reviewed by elane hunt on . depression I have been plagued by depression/anxiety for the past 8 years. I'm 44. Cheer up dude. No matter what happens you're not going to survive life. If it interests you try, it if it makes you happy do it agian. It's easy to put down. I know many people who have tried it a few times then put it down cuz it wasn't right for them. What makes me happy might not make you happy, but atleast you will know if it makes you happy or not.
Now where are my Cheetoes?

Eh ... the excercise will work beautifully if he does it. I wouldn't recommend wee d for this problem because ... hell, I've only hit my pipe three times today, and I've gone from super-intelligent to dumb as a brick, and from sad to happy to mad to confused. Over and over.
Plenty fine for daily life, but not so much for depression ...

I wouldn't use cannabis as a method to relieve depression. What goes up must come down. Get off all meds, tobacco, alcohol, caffeine etc. Drink water, eat well, sleep well, go to the gym for at least an hour or so a day. Once you are doing all the right things and still feel depressed get some tests done. It could be as simple as an allergic reaction of some kind, deficiency or maybe you are low in testosterone. Find hobbies that are fun, challenging and time consuming. Donā??t take meds just because the doctor prescribed them as a quick fix. Make sure you find out why you are depressed and then take the appropriate course of action to fix it.
I read about a study that was done where each control group were prescribed different things. 1 group was prescribed meds, 2nd group exercise and the 3rd was exercise and meds. The group that was prescribed exercise only had a better success rate than both the other groups. I think somewhere in the 90% range.
