I can't believe you all got it wrong.

A thug is a person who is too fuckin stupid to open his eyes, keep his neighborhood clean, get a real job, and realize that noone is out to get them untill they ask for it. They tend to do this because they have a problem with earning respect through good deeds. Most thugs tend to find god while they are in prison as an attempt to get paroled. After which they revert to being a dumbass again. Than when they are back in jail they find god again and repeat the process.

i think you guys are all talking about gangsters.....thugs...at least in LA...are people who have to fight a constant daily struggle to stay alive, they dont fuck with you if you dont fuck with them...but if u do, they will kill you themselves, and maybe even your family as well. I really think you guys are all talking abuot gangsters....and the only rapper that was actually even a REAL thug was pac....everyone else was just wannabes.
