advice please
these two plants are now 2 weeks in and 8 inches tall. They still cant hold themselvs up without the aid of a paperclip. the problem was that they didnt get under the light untill they were a week old. these pics are after day 1 under light and after day 10 under light. think they will ever stand up on their own? or even live much longer? thanks.

advice please
Damm man why the hell did you leave em that long before seeing light???
They may survive(don't hold your breath) but you will have to bury the stalk deep into the soil so that you only have plant showing from the first set of leaves up. Therefore all your excess stem (the stuff u buried),then starts to put out roots.
Hope this has been helpful for you.

advice please
If you have more seeds I would strongly suggest tossing those right out. You are very early into the process and it is often easier to start over in a case like yours than to continue on with stressed plants. Remember, stressed plants are male plants. If starting over is not an option then you should seperate those sprouts as soon as possible. As the previous poster said bury them in soil up to the first set of leaves, this will encourage roots to grow from the buried stem and will also give the plant deep roots.
Also, consider sprouting in divided trays or Jiffy-Pellets, these can be transplanted right into larger pots without causing transplant shock and keeps everything easy to seperate.
