What Mobo should I get?
I'm getting a few new pc components and I'm kinda stuck on which mobo I should get. I've been to many sites to compare features, but I've never bought just a motherboard. I know a few things I need though - AMD Socket 939 Onboard firewire controller At least 2 PCI slots SLI capability ATX No AGP slots Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I believe SLI is overrated. You will never spend the money on TWO high-end cards to take advantage of this feature.
Epox 9NPA7i
I have built two PCs for friends using this board.
Stable. No issues. I would buy a third.

I also agree about the SLI. I see no advantages to two cards now that we are starting to see multi-core chips. Foxconn makes some great little boards with firewire that are cheap and get the job done. I don't have a fancy 939 but I am running a AMD64 3200+ 2.2ghz on a Foxconn board and I have really enjoyed it. I assume you're looking at Newegg?
