cuz some people have told me so, but others tell me if there is any idea u have drugs on u they are allowed to search your whole car

i know this for sure though

if your parked in a pulic parking lot, and a cop has no reason to search your car, he cant search it.

Police need to have something called "probable cause" to search a vehicle w/out a warrant. Whether this be you smelling like weed, the cop seeing open alcohol containers, or a drug sniffing dog to alert on the car. Either way, you are *most likely* not going to get searched if all of your shit in in order and you dont reek like pot.

If you are arrested, and your car is towed, they WILL search it, including the glove compartment if it is not locked. This has happened to me (more than once, sigh...)

If the glove compartment is locked, I don't think they will break it open.

my toyota corolla 91 is a toker car cause after like 4 5 months I found a hidden place thats bid g<enough for a pipe weed lighters and more more more weed..like a ounce =D very sweet place but still you can build yourself a secret stash in your car
