Then there's the other side of the coin that says to let them broadcast all of the conspiracy theories they want to since they are rarely ever provable with hard evidence and many, (in fact, most) come off sounding like loons no matter how much evidence (most of it circumstantial) they can muster. And it works. Even though there is some very provocative evidence about Kennedy and Roswell, etc...so many screwball theories come out of the woodwork that they discredit any genuine evidence that is out there. More often than not the folks who are attempting to support these theories are about as nutty as they come.
One of the best examples I can come up with is Whitley Strieber. He originally claimed he had been abducted by aliens and probed and prodded but now he just says, something happened. The poor man is noticably disturbed.
