smoke with ocd?

My friends got ODC, and he won't smoke cause he thinks something bad will happen like it will fuck with his OCD or somethin. Can you smoke with OCD?

lol i dunno...what if he devolops a habit with ocd where he has to smoke before he does like everything lol..that would be sweet but suck also because that would be hella expensive....and well his mom would know lol

ask a doctor man. they can't even tell ur parents if u ask about weed, let alone cops...i think...

OCD varys in people and is a hard disease to overcome, it's all in the head maybe you can reason with him. I'm not sure though since I never really knew anybody with OCD. Give him so info about marijuana.

I have really bad OCD and it hasn't affected me much it just made my OCD slightly worse. But my OCD was so severe before I was nearly suicidal and now I'm not as stressed out.

i've never been diagnosed with OCD, but I'm almost positive I have it. when something in my locker or room is out of order, i get a literally uncontrollable urge to straighten it out. when I'm high, sometimes it's magnified by a LOT and i adjust myself in the same seat constantly because nothing feels right (yes ocd can mess with sitting down too) but sometimes it disappears when I'm high.

I have slight OCD and it only messes with me when I start some sort of physical task. Like, making shit, or painting a house. Then I just totally zero in on what I'm doing and it's just like I gotta kepp doing it. But other than sometimes doing that (and in a good way) doesn't really affect me.

I started using marijuana because my OCD got so depressing I had trouble being happy ever I have had many OCDs I had ROCD, HOCD (definately the worst one to ever get), I have an obsession with patterns everything has to be symmetrical, and i also have the irrational fear that I am going to hell, or that I will kill my family when I grow up. I have severe OCD and was diagnosed when I was 7. I used marijuana as an escape when I had HOCD because I would beome really depressed for lond periods of time. I think it actually helped me alot but when I'm not high it's definately alot worse than it was when I was first diagnosed.

I've been diagnosed since I was 6 and my OCD is pretty severe.

The effects of weed (and I guess any other herb/drug/chemical etc.) on OCD, like the symptoms themselves, vary from person-to-person. For me, it helped me tremendously, more than any of the dozens of medication I've been on in my life. It also helped my depression and Tourettes (I get shaky sometimes, nothing huge). :smokin:

If your friend wants to try it, it's very important that his first time is a comfortable one, around people that he knows and trusts. Getting together with a small group of friends at somebody's house is usually a good first-time experience.
