how can i keep my plant as short as poss??

Sorry to say this, but if you're having space problems you really shouldn't be growing!
But anywho, what these guys said. Tie her down as much as possible and if you haven't already begun flowering do it now.
How much space have you got left? These plants grow like crazy and the space will be gone by the next time you look at her!!

Take a look at nochowder's plants. Space problems don't mean that you shouldn't be growing. Thats a very negative way to think. My glass is half full not half empty. <3 buddy.
