    Baked Pork

Its time 4 some boneless pork chops, yum, yum. lol.

What u do is clean and flour your chops. Then cook them in a pan 4 a little while, no oil required (optional). Then, after u have browned chops on both sides, take them out of skillet. Then put the slightly cooked chops in a baking dish (I use a bed of rice or potato cuttings) 2 line the bottom of dish. Then smoother chops with 1 or up to, 2 Cans of Cream of Mushroom. Its safe 2 say; 1lb of meat = 1Can approximately, unless u want more gravy. Sprinkle 1 bag of Onion Soup mix on top. Cook, dish on about 400F, in oven till done. Add favorite herb as a topper or mix within Cream of Mushroom. I'm off 2 bake some morning goodies. Yum.
    Peace

    Howdy Green_Love,

Dang..I like yer recipe ! Do ya mix a little bit of milk with the soup ? When I make pork chops with cream of mushroom gravey,I mix the soup with one can of milk and a table-spoon or 2 of flour, for thickening. But I ain't never seared the chops before,I do with pot roasts. I'm gonna have to try that out, also,I always season the flour I use to sear meat with and I also season the soup mixture. I ain't never tried it with a bed of rice or potatoes either,do ya cut the taters into slices like ya would for au-graten taters ?

    Have a good one !

    Hey Torog,

I've never tried it with milk. I'll have 2 try it that way, but I have added flour 2 thicken the gravy. I do pot roasts the same way. Sometimes I season the meats, just depends. I add pepper 2 almost anything and some salt 4 taste.
Rice or potato's both good. I slice/chop it into potato salad size chunks. Its better if the potato's have already been cooked as it takes awhile 4 the potato's 2 cook throughly, gotta add a little bit of water or milk not 2 much though unless u like your gravy runny, lol. Cheers mate.
